HOLIDAYS
In addition to the festivities and the fires in January, in the region of Sobrarbe there are several special events and locals.
The Morisma: popular representation which commemorates the apparition of the Cross of fire on oak in battle against the Muslim conquest of Ainsa. Will be held the first Sunday in September of odd years.
The Navata: trunks are guided skillfully platforms by men as old as the timber and transported to a few decades ago the people of the "lowland". It is a symbolic descent, by the Cinca river, from the vicinity of Escalona and Laspuña to Aínsa. The third Sunday of May.
The Carnival: The most famous are those of Bielsa, who still retain the primitive pre-Christian rites. They also have their importance in other nearby places such as San Juan de Plan, the Fueva, Nerín, etc..
